Concentration Training (MKT)
Does your child have difficulty concentrating at school, "fidgets" in the chair or often shouts in between?
Perhaps we can help you and your child with the Marburg concentration training programme. The training has proven to be an effective way of improving children's ability to concentrate and their working behaviour.
The courses are aimed at children of primary school age. Dates for the courses can be found below.
Marburg Concentration Training is a scientifically based programme to promote concentration and self-regulation in children. The training is primarily aimed at children who have difficulties with attention and concentration, such as children with ADHD (attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder).
MKT is based on behavioural therapy principles and teaches strategies for improving concentration and working behaviour. MKT promotes children's self-confidence through positive feedback and a sense of achievement.
Dates
Our course starts with the information evening for parents on Oct. 31, 2024 at 6:30 pm.
The dates for the children will be on Nov. 7, 11, 14, 21, 28, and on Dec 5, 12 from 4:30 to 5:30 pm.
Costs
The cost of the course is 250 euros. This includes the 6 group sessions including work materials, the parents' evening and intensive individual counselling if required.
Parents' meeting
Take the opportunity to exchange ideas with other parents in a relaxed atmosphere, make new friends and receive valuable tips on everyday family life and parenting.
From October 2024 every first Tuesday of the month from 9:30 - 11:30 am in the course room on the 2nd floor.
